I am very confused as to what is the deal with
http://www.hollywoodmemorabilia.com
I am currently looking for a Paul McCartney album for my collection and I see that some of the ones on this site are also available on Ebay from more than one totally different sellers. I am not sure what to make of that.. anyone??
thanks

I saw that.. but why would they be selling their items on ebay under different names and at a substantial lower cost. Just seems very odd to me.
They go to ebay and take other peoples listing and make it look like they are there own . They don't physically have the items at sportsmemorabilia.com. They would have to buy the item from the ebayer , then have it shipped to them from the ebayer , then ship it to you . Its a weird concept. I don't know how I feel . As at one time they cost me a big sell. I sold a clint for $450 . Then two days later ,after I already mailed the item , the buyer messaged me saying he saw the same exact item on amazon for 3xs what I sodl it to him for. I had no idea what he was talking about . He sent me the link , and that's how I noticed they had my friends items up as well . As well as some of my others. ALl off our ebay store. The guy got the clint ,asked to return . Cause he said it was weird there where two of the same psa'd stickerd clints out there.
This company needs to put a disclaimer up to what they are doing so everyone knows I guess.
But mark , just go thru the ebay seller. They will be the one with the item in hand . Sportsmemorabilia idea is this pretty much , you or I go to walmart. Take a picture of all there items, go start a website , put everything at double walmart prices. Then once someones wants to buy off the website , make the sell. Go to walmart , buy the item and ship it to them. Making a little profit.
Gotcha - but you are right.. it really bothered or bothers me that they might have 2 items out there with the same PSA sticker etc..
thanks for the reply

Exactly, Anthony.
I confronted them (Sportsmemorabilia.com) and asked them how they acquired their Jeter autographs? They claimed they had a private signing with them. At the time they were listing a ton of Derek Jeter Global Authentics (Steve Sipe) forgeries.
Of course, they were lying and I saved the transcript of my conversation with them.
Nice detective work Mr. Williams. Never heard of that site until now. Very deceitful
The thing I think is unfair and crappy is - it actually put doubt in my mind regarding the authenticity of a piece. Seeing it in 2 different places with 2 different prices…

2years late for this conversation so I don't know if anyone can respond. But I recently found a connection between this website hollywoodmemorabilia and ebay seller skyline signatures https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/skylinesignatures - this all appears very dodgy to me. Some of the pictures look like they've been taken on a material that could even be a bedspread - the ones with the blue strippy background..
You may choose to read the thread. You will see that this site is just stealing ebay info from many legit ebay businesses. They sell the item at a higher price then go buy the item off ebay to fill the order.
Exactly.
Sportsmemorabilia.com does the same thing.
