Friday's mail brought me the autograph of former major league pitcher, Jeff Ballard. Jeff was a workhorse for the 1989 Baltimore Orioles, going 18-8 that season, finishing in the top 5 in the American League in wins and games started, and almost upset the Blue Jays for the American League eastern division championship.

Over the weekend, I got this in the mail, a signed 1986 Donruss card of 2010 College Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, Alan Bannister. Alan was a big part of the 1972 Arizona State National Championship team, and has a nice 12-year career in the major leagues.

Forgot to post these a couple of weeks ago.......was able to meet and get the autographs of Atlanta Braves second baseman Jace Peterson, and Braves shortstop Andrelton Simmons at a sports memorabilia show.

Got baseball players Jayson Nix and Scott Moore this week. Jayson was part of that amazing Royals team that won the American League championship last season. Scott is in AAA right now with the Memphis Redbirds.

Was at Wal-Mart today, and I just could not pass this up. A Pete Rose autograph for $12! I know it is a sticker autograph, and a mass produced item, but an authentic Pete Rose autograph for $12 seemed like a heck of deal for me.

Thanks, Rhonda! Got another former Brave this week, Kris Medlen, to go along with an 8x10 of former baseball great Matt Williams, and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Dick LeBeau.
