I got one ttm and three Listia auctions in the mail today! The ttm was from former Cleveland Browns quarterback, Frank Ryan. From Listia, I recieved 2 signed minor league cards of Marc Barcelo and James Bonnici, a signed MMA card of Kenji Osawa, and a signed Milwaukee Admirals card of Simon Gamache!

TTM today:  After over a year wait, I heard back from Gena Rowlands.  She kindly signed the photos that I sent her!  Was beginning to think I'd never hear from her, as she has always in the past been quick to respond to her fanmail.

I recieved a listia win of  a 8x10 photo signed by TNA Owner Dixie Carter, and a picture I sent to the Lady Vols signed by Pat Summit . sadly i had asked her to have the whole team and coaching staff sign it .

I am happy to see thateveryone is having such good luck . i have had a dry spell for about 2 weeks now. i am beginning to think the mail lady forgot about me again. i tried for an autograph from ricky flair. i sent him an email and they sent me a response saying that i have to pay for it, but the good news is thatthey would waive the personalizing fee, since iwas such a huge fan. i find it apawlling that these people that had made millions off people and they cant find it in good faith to sign a few autgraphs to show their appreciation. It is all these so called collectors thatsell all their successes or get multipals so they can make money , that are ruiningit for the true collectors. oh well, i will get off my soap box and say later to all my freinds out there and say wish me luck. hopfully i can come in a say that theydrought has ended. later peeps.

I totally agree with you Darrel. We pay for tickets to see people play sports or perform in movies. We buy thier dvds, cds, toys, etc. and they still want us to shell out money for an autograph. Like you said, these people have made millions and still want to nickle and dime thier fans for a signature! The people that profit from it have ruined it because of the multiples and exorbanat prices that they charge for a signature and let us not forget the "fans" that just write to a celeb just because they saw on a site where the celeb in question signed for somebody! Wrestling fans are the worst as everytime a wrestling success gets posted on a site, everyone is automatically a wrestling fan and bombard the wrestler with so many requests that they just stop signing! This hobby is getting tougher every year!

i agree totally, i canstand it. it seems that more of my request are meeting with the same response, pay for it and i would be glad to sign it. but with my health the way it is and my budget i cannot afford to keep shelling out for celebs like them. if it was not for listia i would be going insane right now.
