I am fortunate to live between two major halls of fame. Both the Rock N Roll and Football Hall of Fame are about 45 minutes from my house. The Rock Hall has programs throughout the year and you never know who might show up. It is the only HOF that does not host the induction ceremony every year…Continue
September has been a pretty good month for adding to the collection. Things started to slow down in Northeast Ohio, but I still managed to get a few good ones.
Todd Rundgren made his 5th appearance in Northern Ohio in the past 12 months. Apparently he has a pretty big fan base here. Believe it or not- he is playing again in December. I think people were disappointed with his “Global” tour as he basically played techno music and he only played a few of his hits. So in…Continue
The concerts keep happening in Northeast Ohio and luckily for me they have taken place at smaller venues. The first show was last Friday as Eddie Money took the stage for 2 shows at Tangiers in Akron- a small dinner theater place that has brought in some pretty big names over the years. Between the 2 shows, Eddie was signing items at the merchandise table. I had brought 2 lp's with me to get signed. I didn't really want to buy a t-shirt but some of the proceeds went to the Fallen Hero's…Continue

At the Hard Rock Cafe in Los Angeles last night (11/2), and in cooperation with the L.A. Food Bank and whyhunger.org, held what was billed as an "All-Star" tribute jam to the music of John Lennon, all the while supporting local and world food banks and keeping the spirit of this mans music alive all for the causes set up by Yoko Ono in the name of her late husband. Edgar Winter, Dave Stewart, Joe Walsh, Ringo Starr, plus "very special guests" where to be there playing, and paying tribute, to…Continue

Every time I'm in Las Vegas, I happen to walk by Pete Rose, singing autographs in one of the sports shops in Cesaer's.
There's usually never a crowd (I'm guessing with prices around $50, that's probably why).
Well, he usually also sells his autograph a few doors down from the Hall of Fame museum in Cooperstown, New York, during the induction weekend. This year, he's been absent.
The store he usually works in have been saying that Rose had "prior…Continue
