I have been collecting Star Wars autographs since 1998.  Not all of my signatures are on Star Wars memorabilia.  For example, when I met Warwick Davis at a comic convention in New York City, I had him sign a Willow photograph.  I also have publicity photos of Sir Alec Guinness and Christopher Lee from the 1970s, and a Natalie Portman signed The Diary of Anne Frank theater poster from her performance on Broadway back in 1998.  My current wish list includes Peter Cushing, Terence Stamp and John Williams.  I am interested in knowing about the collections and wish lists of other members.

"Elderly women"...thanks, Mike. We're the same age!

I was thinking same thing since I'm only a couple years younger. lol.

Make sure you guys are careful on long flights!

Steve gave everyone that same warning on the FB group yesterday and I agree 90% of it is garbage.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her for a speedy and full recovery!

Very sad news today.  May the Force be with her.

Not necessarily shocking news although it's a shame when someone is lost before their time. Another SW legends is now gone. Forever Princess Leia.

I'm not a collector of Star Wars - but this is really sad.  :(  I was so hoping based on what seemed to be semi-positive reports that she was going to be okay.

RIP Carrie!

Off topic for Star Wars (sort of) but Debbie Reynolds (Carrie Fishers mom) has now passed away, 1 day after Carrie of a massive stroke. :(  America's Sweetheart back in the day.

I heard she had a stroke an hour ago.

Just got back from watching Rogue One this afternoon to see this heartbreaking news.

Made the last scene of Rogue One chilling.

I remember driving my green 1975 VW Rabbit to see the very first Star Wars at the Drive-In when it first came out.  I had never seen a movie quite like it before.  Like most 18-year-olds at that time, I found Carrie Fisher very beautiful.  She was only about two and a half years older than me.  Anytime a contemporary dies it is another realization of one's mortality. My thoughts and prayers are with her family on this very sad day.
