Signatures apparently obtained by John Bonham and raffled off (along with a signed presence album) at his sons motocross club event in the UK in 1980. Recently sold
on tracks UK. Outer sleeve of album signed. Album version c. Real?
Yes, I think it's real. They all look like genuine Led Zeppelin autographs, the event is well known, and Tracks is highly reliable. It sold for less than I expected but I think that's because of the plain cover of the album.
Thanks for your input. I was also a little surprised it sold for less than I expected given the back story behind it.
This same one sold at Heritage Auctions in 2016 for $10,000 after commission. Maybe Tracks bought it from them and just resold.
So, what did it sell for????
