Indigo - Bob Dylan Possible Autopen Material for - THE PHILOSOPHY OF MODERN SONG: SIGNED EDITION

I want to create a separate thread for this so all photos and video can be easily accessible. We can share this link Directly with Indigo and the publisher, possibly even Bob Dylan himself, so this is easy to find for everyone and not lost within hundreds of comments

This all started from someone located in Waterloo Ontario, they were able to pick up their order, presumably from the Indigo store in Waterloo, much earlier than the November 1st release date. For our benefit, they posted what they received on the group titled "historical autographs" located on Facebook. This does not appear to be a hoax. Ive researched every aspect and find it unlikely, but still can't be ruled out.

Please direct Indigo to both this thread and the thread with hundreds of posts located here

We need to absolutely show how strong we are as a community. If these are in fact yet another autopen, we all need to make a stand with the publishers, retailers, and celebrities who feel can get away with this. Its a huge slap in the face when all 3 constantly assume we are too uneducated to realize what's going on.. hopefully publishers will take notice with an item of this magnitude and figure out that autopen use is no longer a viable option. There are many on here who dream of one day owning a Bob Dylan autograph. This most likely is my last chance to make that happen. If I receive an autopen after spending $600, I will be heartbroken regardless if we can return for refunds or not.

Here are the 4 parts to the video followed by the photos

I believe it was Kenny stating in one of the old KD threads that a class action suit was looked into but nothing came out of it.. he wasn't talking about $600 items though. The amount of funds passing hands on this may be something lawyers will be willing to take on. Does anyone out there have a lawyer friend? Maybe bring them up to speed on this and get them on board researching early?

If Simon and Schuster is dumb enough to attempt this a 2nd time, this may very well end up becoming the most important fight against autopens in the history of our community. It could change the outcome of future autopens yet to be released as well as the way publishers view autopen use in general. Its a big step before autopen technology becomes too advanced

Right, I think he had explored legal options over the Ozzy autopens but nothing panned out.

We know of 99 released to Coles.. at least 12 released to premiere.. theres no way to check stock for the ones they listed themselves. Can the sites source code be checked? I never learned how to do that.. I feel, as long as the total amount doesn't exceed 500 total, there is still a chance for these to be real

These 900 copies have been for sale nearly 6 and a half hours and not sold out?

You would think they would have sold out hours ago unless there are more than 900 copies when 99 copies sold out in the UK in 17 minutes on Saturday.

I honestly think most people are skeptical of buying from Simon and Schuster especially with the wording on their listing saying Sales are final and no refunds. Compared to premiere collectibles and Coles, I think more people are more hesitant with that policy, plus 900 is a lot for a company that tried to dupe buyers the first time around.

100%

And their response to preemptive concerns is terrible. They are handling this all wrong.

I think some posters were right in saying to use PayPal for an extra layer of contestability.  Simply saying no refunds wouldn't absolve them if they said hand signed by Bob Dylan.  So whether people ordered from Premiere, Coles, or S&S.  If they get an autopen there's always filing a complaint with the FTC. https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/  if the seller is inflexible with a return.

Premiere is usually terrible about admitting anything they sell is fake. But they'll grudgingly take a return while insisting what they sent wasn't fake and denying any and all wrongdoing.  But they keep changing up management-so that could change at any time.  For Coles, your worst-case scenario is probably being out the return shipping.  Simon and Shuster is the big wildcard as to how far they'd try to press something if caught.  But you'd think a company that big would not want to risk the PR hit-but anything is possible nowadays.

We should know soon…S&S email receipt shows expected delivery 11/18 - 11/21

You ordered, eh? No guys, no glory I guess.  Here's hoping they did right by you.

I did lol, rolling the dice. Appreciate the well wishes, fingers crossed.
