While there is the "non musician" thread I think the overall consensus the past couple years was that if it was from a big enough name non musician then it is fine to post here as not everyone follows that non-musician thread. That one has some smaller names in it as well.

I'd personally rather get the email notifications for the big people (like Clinton, Christopher Nolan, Cormac McCarthy etc that have their own threads) without getting them for every single post in the non musician thread.

Thanks mcnish, that was pretty much why I started a thread - just to alert folks who may not follow the non-musician. Also, there were prior threads for Clinton/Patterson and the Obama memoir.

As a collector (and like many here), I collect both sides of the aisle. Granted, there has not been a separate thread for Trump, but his stuff has been regularly available on his publishing site. I’d fully support it if someone wanted to start one, he’s obviously a big name (especially if it was $38!).

Anyway, was just trying to alert those who wanted it and unfortunately some still missed it.
