I thought they would at least throw in a drumstick or something!

That's not an official deluxe edition.  Very fine books works the same scam Premiere is doing now.  Take a $30-50 regular signed book and make up some slipcases for it and print your to own COAs-then charge 2-10x retail for it.  But the book itself is the same edition you could buy anywhere else. They probably have someone from Etsy making the slipcases for them.

I remember Sarah Palin - going rogue slipcases from premiere limited 1000. They also sold the exact regular book much cheaper. The bottom line was "this is mumber ___ of 1000" in every book, even the regular books. They just stuck a coa sticker over that line for the regular books to hide it. Problem was, people found out you could carefully peel off the sticker. I saw 2 examples of books being sold with the same number. Handwriting for the number was different and slipcase had a slight variation. Signature was authentic though. I wish I was a member on here back then. I would have documented it. That was my first instance of thinking something was fishy with premiere. Their incompetence let a scam happen on top of their own scam.

I wasn't aware of very fine books. Thanks for the heads up. At $300 it wasn't even a thought anyways though.

This is an example of the regular Palin book people were turning into deluxe versions

I got an email saying the limited edition of 50 (@$300 ea) is sold out!

Whoa.
