I think the bottom one looks authentic, but I could be wrong.  Any opinions appreciated!

I can't imagine Gary Harvey ever knowingly selling a forgery.

Steve if you know Gary perhaps you can put in a word and help Mike get a refund? Seems silly Gary won't just let him return it, especially if he's agreed to an exchange,
gary is a solid dealer. No way do I believe he is knowingly selling fakes.
I dont think Gary is knowingly selling forgeries. He has been cooperative showing me autographs that he will exchange the Ford for, but most of the autographs havent been okay'd by the forum. The bottom Clint Eastwood, in my opinion, looks good. His COA comes with a lifetime guarantee, so I didnt really see the trouble if a monetary refund would be given upon return of the Ford. If it is genuine, Fords are an easy sell. But I have been very cooperative and patient thus far. Just want an autograph that I will be able to sell without problem in the future.
A lifetime guarentee is meaningless if you can never get your money back. Did the Ford come with the same guarentee and now he won't honor it?

Most COAs don't go into detail, they just say something like "Lifetime guarantee of authenticity to the original purchaser." Does Gary's specify how the guarantee is enforced and if so, have you met those terms?

Pete Chuka is widely considered one of the top two, if not the top, Harrison Ford authentication expert in the world. Steve Grad is the other. If Pete says he is confident in his opinion it isn't real, then I think you should get your money back under the guarantee. And unless the guarantee says you get a credit towards other merchandise and not cash, then you deserve a cash refund.

I agree with this statement. Send him the link to that thread, both Pete and myself wrote in detail what was wrong with the signature, and since Pete is an authority on Ford, you should definitely get your money back. I wouldn't bother with all this exchange nonsense, especially if he is offering you questionable autographs to exchange it for.
I did send a link. He isnt interested in commenting in the forum because of some McCartney autograph incident. Not sure how it involved him so not trying to be libelous.. See the attached images. One is the COA and one is a written statement where he says he got the Ford signed in person

Contd. just want to note the Coa has his contact information etc on the bottom. Ive decided to crop that out of the image for his own privacy.

He doesn't have to comment if he doesn't want to, but he does have to give you your money back. Also that note doesn't say that he got the item in person only that he is claiming it was signed at the premier, which it wasn't. I'm sure he just got burned by one of his sources.

I would agree. Most autograph dealers don't go running around getting all the signatures they sell by themselves. It does say lifetime guarantee.

Im awaiting a response from him, Ive asked him to exchange for the second Clint Eastwood pictured in this thread, and Ive also asked him if he actually got the Ford signed in person himself.  Just want to get this over with, and Ill send the Clint Eastwood to PSA if this exchange happens to clear any doubts and to help in selling the piece if I choose to do so.

If somehow the exchange doesn't go through, I'll try to press for a monetary refund.

Ive had a lot of successful purchases done with autographs both through AML and elsewhere, so I guess this type of situation is bound to happen when purchasing autographs from dealers less known by the general public.  Hopefully the last time this happens..
