We're an eBay affiliate and may be compensated on purchases made through clicks.

I say this because I tried to report an item and there was no option for fake items and there was no option to add a comment; I could only use the banned item option; consequently, the items is still for sale.

From your experience, how easy was it for you to report a 'likely' fake item.

I have emailed eBay outlining this problem. I also said the best way of policing the fakery is through the buyers reporting suspect items.

This is how you report a fake autograph: Trademark & Copyright > Counterfeit Item or Authenticity Disclaimer > Counterfeit, Fake or Replica Items

That said, I believe the reports go into a black hole never to be acted upon. Many people routinely report fake items offered by the worst fake sellers, and items rarely, if ever, get removed.

Yes, that works. They don't make it easy.

If it appears that eBay tolerates this criminal activity, it will only get worse.

They profit off criminal activity. It's in their best interest not to act.

That's how I see it.

@Rich well said

don't waste your time.  they do NOT care

Correct again

Looks like everyone has had the same experience as I have with this. Reporting fake items to Ebay doesn't do anything at all. I've heard of accounts being suspended or deleted but from what I understand they can just make another account and keep selling their crap if they want to.
