They probably just had a few copies back in stock

Same page as usual. You have to look under the regular price.

Is it possible these cheap ones Amazon has been periodically selling are returns from people who paid full price, removed the signature page, rewrapped it and returned it to Amazon for a full refund? Or would Amazon know better?

If they have a high dollar shrink wrap machine that could duplicate it with seam in correct spot, then I suppose

A friend just got this in from Amazon ($400 price). Does this seal look good?

We were discussing how 'baggy' it is (not tight around the book). He wants to keep it sealed, but now that you mention this maybe he should open it?

The factory sealed books have promo material inside indicating a signed copy. This is clearly not factory. I would want to see the sig, personally.

I wouldnt want to resell it at any point, not knowing if there are graphs inside or not.

Then again, not sure I wouldn't return it to Amazon if I got something looking like that.

Looks like a damned if you do, damned if you dont situation to me if ever there was one!

the packing there does not look right imo

If mine looks like that I'm sending it back. Looks sketchy

None of the 3 that I've gotten looked anything near that baggy.  I'd consider that suspicious.  I'd open it and take a video of the opening-just to provide proof if a refund is needed that there was something wrong (if the signature page is missing).

Just got mine and the plastic is also baggy. If anyone opens a "baggy" one, please post results.

It also could just be a simple return of the signed book by somebody who got one somewhere else or cheaper or cant resell bc these were nowhere as “extremely limited” as they claimed. You cant really re-use the original packing material and Ill bet the printed packaging material doesnt even get returned alot of the time.
