So I’m just starting this to help those still waiting on their orders or otherwise trying to sort out what they have. There are multiple autopen templates involved (see below). As of now, store is accepting returns for refund.
**Credit to AL member Sapphyre who first mentioned autopen and posted her example (on original thread). I was able to match it quickly to AL member R Buck’s, who also posted theirs early on. Thanks to both.
Non-Jovi:

Thanks for the second opinion. Appreciated!
Both look good.
Bon Jovi only made number 3 in the UK albums chart.... was it worth the reputational risk?
Right, wouldn’t think so and doesn’t seem to be stopping them from selling the returns lol
Perhaps we should all mark the returns with invisible pen,it would be a great catch to get one that they reused and shame them or just bend /damage the fakes before sending them back to stop them being reused
That’s a good idea…mine arrived slightly bent anyway and with cd case broken but I’m sure they’ll ship it back out to the next person
I think a class action lawsuit for fraud may actually get their attention, otherwise, just waiting for the next round of autopens from whoever, whenever.
PS great work on these Matt M. You, Jason H, Joel S and others have helped literally thousands of people from being ripped off. Very, very appreciated.
Right, I was glad to see it in the news as the negative publicity should be a deterrent, but agree some formal legal action on autopens would be interesting. I think a good opportunity was the Dylan ones (last time we were in the news) because they were so much money but like Jovi, they agreed to refund everybody. (I wish more had come of the Dylan art prints, I’m still sitting on one that I don’t know who or what signed it…anyway, that’s another topic).
Thanks again for your kind words, this site is definitely a group effort and I was glad to help out. Watching that video on YouTube, sounds like there was quite a bit of tracking on Facebook that I was wasn’t aware of (I’m not on there) so credit to those folks too. I probably should have been working with them lol.
Thanks to all of those who contributed on this site/thread especially. Credit to Jason H for setting the precedent on how to document all of it (Dylan).
Hope this continues to make the news….
Definitely agree. I would think any larger company engaging in deceptive and misleading sales tactics would be open to legal action. Mobile Fidelity customers were awarded a $25 million dollar settlement just last year for similar practices. Here's a link to the lawsuit
