Russ - I have that same Adderley card signed. Congratulations!

Bessinger - So glad to help you (and the rest of the autograph world it seems! LOL!!!) in getting in touch with Ron Gant :) I knew there were a lot of them out there, and I can't help but think he rerally appreciates all the kind letters you all have sent him. These guys love to be remembered.

i got an awsome autograph ttm from hall of famer raymond berry. He sent me a signed trading card , postcard, and signed my note cards as well. An awsome response and class act!

2 ttms were waiting for me when I got home today!

First, I got 2 of 2 from Dave Johnson for my Orioles pc.

Second, I received 2 of 2 from Greg Gagne for my Twins pc.

Post office was pretty nice to me yesterday - Kevin Harvick, Graham Rahal, Jason Taylor, Luis Gonzalez, & Chris Chelios.

Do any of you write to non-sports celebrities or to world boxing champions through the mail? Because so far, what I see here mainly are baseball, football and basketball ones.

The majority of mine are actors and actresses and Wnba

Personally, I have never had much luck writing to boxers. Back in the 90s, I did get Ali before, he started sending out the autopens, and George Foreman sent back my   trading card unsigned with a small signed pic.

As far as non-sports celebrities, I have had many successes with them, but they are few and far between. Sports stars, especially retired ones, tend to be more apt to sign. In my opinion.

Yesterday, I got 2 ttm.

First, Duane Kuiper signed 2 of 2.

Secondly, Ryan Church signed 4 of 4 .

Yesterday I received Jack Nicklaus signed item. Read the story about this on the J Nicklaus topic in the Golf group section.

Russ: There is a service out there, I cant remember the name right now, that sells you all kinds of celebrity addresses. The boxing list costs $7.50, but it contains hundreds of hundreds of home addresses and the addresses are mostly accurate. As far as writing boxers, I'd say not to write to the biggest names obviously, but there are several smaller names that are Hall of Famers and that are in the list. If you decide to get the list, go to your local shop and ask if they have the old Kayo Boxing cards. They are the same size as baseball cards and you can send them that for autographs!
