Adam Halloran replied to Ryan Sloss's discussion TRACKS authentication general question
"Frank Caiazzo, Tracks, and Perry Cox are the top 3 and the gold standard in Beatles autograph authentication. I wouldn't buy one without one of those three, but still always ask AML members opinions too if you still feel uncomfortable. "

Adam Halloran replied to Steve Cyrkin, Community Manager's discussion How Much is this George Harrison Autograph Worth?
"It looks like a 67 to me. I think with the provenance and seeing and watching Tracks listings, I think you could reasonable expect the 800 to 1,000 for sure like Bruce said, if not a bit more. Nice Steve!"

The Muses In Music And Other Assorted Inspirations.

Posted on October 23, 2017 at 5:51pm 3 Comments

Where does inspiration come from? For many musicians a song can be a throw away or nonsensical or have no deep meaning at all.  Others, perhaps had come to them in a dream. The song "Yesterday" had been said to have came to Paul McCartney this way and "Across The Universe" made its way cosmically to John Lennon.

However, what I have always found more fascinating, is how love or even lust can drive someone to write the most beautiful songs and perhaps rocks greatest muse was both the…

All You Need Is Love-When Collecting The Beatles!

Posted on February 24, 2017 at 4:00pm 12 Comments

I never had the chance to see The Beatles perform in concert. I was born in 1983, sadly a few years too late to be a "first generation fan".... Okay well more than a few years too late.
Also with there never being a chance for a true reunion with John Lennon having already passed on before I was even born, who knows what could have been had all four been here today?
I grew up mostly with new wave music in my early youth as an 80's child my memories are also of George…

A truly positive experience receiving an autograph! (Share your best too)

I wanted to provide a flip to the discussion asking people for the worse in person experience. This doesn't necessarily have to be in person, as I just had a wonderful example of an artist being extra kind to one of their fans.

Not many people are aware of the group The Swell Season (however they have a cult type following), in fact they aren't even together anymore. They are Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, if you have heard of the movie Once then you have seen…

I managed to make one of my dreams come true back in August when I got a chance to meet two of The Beach Boys, Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. If you haven't read my pervious blog called God only knows how I met The Beach Boys! You can read about my Meet & Greet here: Meeting Mike Love and Bruce Johnston
