I saw one posted on ebay over a Barnes and Noble bag.. thought it was just a coincidence and didn't ask questions

Just saying that this is very unusual for especially the store.  I do appreciate your efforts in sharing the information.  Good fortune!

Thanks appreciate it seems we’re reaching the end of this monumental thread until the easons orders start coming in for the US customers

So more specifically, its this listing..I just asked if this was purchased at B&N.. he replied yes

Not a horrible price. I’m still hoping to find one in the wild but it’s getting pretty scarce.

Yeah good price compared to others, but if true, and he did purchase from B&N.. it might make sense to call individual stores, especially in the Pennsylvania area

I was told by one store that b and n provided the copies signed at the beacon. The next day b and N gets copies I don’t think that much of a coincidence.

I called B&N Union Square and they are sold out of signed copies. Apparently, they had a secret program that allowed members to reserve a signed copy but did not announce it to members in any way. You had to go into the store or call them and know to ask them to reserve a signed copy or somehow just be in the know.

I mean…..I said it here shortly after I did so myself. I called in though to do so.

I called my local B&N again just to check (outside Nashville). Said they still don’t have them “yet” and to check back week of Black Friday. Didn’t ask about reserving a copy as I was able to get order in with Strand.

The books given out to ticket holders at the Beacon were not signed, according to multiple sources I’ve read online.

Here is a detailed account of that night.  Scroll down approximately 75% for mention of the unsigned books:
