There were many movie and television stars that appeared as guest stars (though never called that on the show) on TAGS.   Hopefully others will add their autographs of stars like Buddy Ebsen, Charlie Ruggles, Edgar Buchanan, Everett Sloane, Alan Hale, Jr., Bob Denver, John Dehner and many others who appeared as "guest stars" on an episode of TAGS.  Elsewhere I think in the comment section I have my Jack Nicholson autograph.  I am not including him here because he was in two episodes.

Scott, many don't remember Mr. Fix in the pilot episode of Star Trek with the great (and died too young) Jeffrey Hunter at the helm.

That is right Christopher.  Jeffrey Hunter was a great actor and only 42 when he died.  He was so good in THE LONGEST DAY, THE SEARCHERS and of course KING OF KINGS.

Do you remember the movie Sergeant Rutledge where Jeffrey Hunter played the lawyer.  A favorite of mine.

Absolutely, he was great in that.  The great Woody Strode at his finest too.   I miss those old westerns.

ARTHUR BATANIDES (1923-2000) he often played either crooks or cops in scores of roles on television and the movies.  His last work was as old Mr. Kirkland in some of the POLICE ACADEMY movies.  He had a memorable role in the original Star Trek episode "That Which Survives."  He played the tough escaped convict Ralph Neal in the episode "Barney's Bloodhound."  Like many character actors his autograph is seldom encountered.  This is from his World War II draft registration.

I also remember him in a Columbo episode and the movie Airplane.  He had that great face.

And Woody Strode; a strong actor.

ARTHUR BATANIDES from his Find a Grave memorial.

TREVOR BARDETTE (1902-1977) was a rare character actor that could play a sheriff or lawman in one film and a  blackhearted villain in the next.    Best known for old "oaters," he also did horror, sci-fi, drama, and comedy.   He did multiple episodes of Gunsmoke, Wagon Train, Have Gun Will Travel, and Lassie.  He portrayed Julius Ceasar in a memorable episode of The Adventures of Superman , one of two he did. Bardette had the recurring "Old Man Clanton" role in The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp.  He appeared in episodes of My Favorite MartianThe Twilight Zone, Perry Mason, Flipper, The Untouchables, and many more.  On TAGS Bardette was the second man to play "Wally" the owner of the town's gas station.  Norman Leavitt appeared as "Wally" twice before, and Cliff Norton later on.   Bardette is not an easy autograph to find.

TREVOR BARDETTE.  Besides dozens of westerns, his movies included the gripping Paul Newman film The Rack (1956), playing the Court President at the court martial. He also was in one of my favorite Sci-Fi movies, The Monolith Monsters (1957), as Professor Arthur Flanders.

TREVOR BARDETTE from the Paul Newman film "THE RACK."

He always looked great in a military uniform.

He was very distinguished looking so in later years played a lot of authority figure roles.  I liked him as the professor in THE MONOLITH MONSTERS.  He was also great as the patriarch of the Clanton gang in The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp.
