I wanted to share my Beatles Autographs and see what you guys think. Roger Epperson already approved the Paul autograph, which is why I got it in the first place. Ringo's autograph comes with GDM Enterprises approval through a seller off ebay.

I have the upmost respect for Roger Epperson and enjoyed working closely with him! I have read about Gary Murtha and have respect for him as well as I have talked with Perry Cox myself on multiple occasions.

I have read a lot of the articles posted about all the happenings on Paul McCartney's autographs so I am posting these on here as it's always nice to get things confirmed from others.  I appreciate you guys looking and letting me know.

Can you expound on this please?

Hello,

While these McCartney's may be a more recent or unusual style, the not-optimal ink adhesion on the first, and the second, perhaps rushed, don't produce a "WOW! reaction IMO but a "wha???" Some collectors will opt for a more typical appearance and more attractive execution. Authentic and desirable don't always travel hand in hand. Selling these raw would not be an easy task. Some just won't like that second "P". Others will seek a fuller example. The Ringo's do not have the best ink or contrast as well. YMMV.

That makes sense. Thank you for explaining that to me. Thank you!

Most welcome :-) Out of these, the first McCartney has the most eye appeal overall (image/item included) IMO.

The form of all 4 autographs, the ones on the OP and the red CD, are common, not poor or unusual. The items they are signed on are fine—especially the top one, and a lot of people collect CDs, although they're not my cup of tea.

I don't recall hearing of GDM Enterprises. That's an authentication service? Where are they located?

The Ringos don't have as much contrast as I'd want, although the one in the OP may stand out a lot more in real life. Scanning can reduce contrast. Good photo shots are better. The McCartneys will pop from 30 feet away, and a lot of people want to hang them on their wall. I love the first Macca.

Agreed, Steve.  I'm no expert but, if these are indeed the real, they look great to me!  Quite desirable and nice eye appeal, imho.  I'd say you have reason to be proud of these and would display wonderfully!

"...if these are indeed the real..."

That is exactly what I meant, Another Brick. "If" is not something I like to hear. Again and as previously stated, YMMV.

Since it's my words that are bracketed and parsed in the above comment, I'll clarify what I meant.

I said " if " because I am not an expert on these signatures as others here certainly are.  I don't feel I can give an opinion on their authenticity and I wasn't presuming to do so.  I was merely giving my impression on their eye appeal and potential desirability.  I was not casting a shadow on their authenticity.

Never said you were casting doubt. No one has. It has already been observed that the first McCartney has the best eye appeal. My point was that out of "A,B, and C" material these are B- to B+, IMO.  Obviously there is a huge range of potential appearances, perhaps matched by the number of differing opinions regarding their individual desirability.

The website is StrawberryWalrus.com. Also gdme on eBay.

Thanks, Ballroom.

Yes, Ballrooms Right. I have the Ringo COA  from GDM but packed it away with my McCartney COA :) Roger gave his quick opinion with a thumbs up already but I will be sending it over to him sometime next year.
