What is on your autograph bucket list?
Just curious to see what is on your bucket list for an autograph.
I have several. Two guitarists that I've seen perform live: Jimmy Hendrix and Terry Kath.

It's hard to quantify -- my "bucket list" goals for signers have changed over time. Three years ago, if you told me I'd be getting stuff like Gilmour, Farley or Taupin (among others), I would have laughed you out of the room.
I'm not so focused on getting individuals as I am getting group-signed books -- I'm looking towards long-term projects around a handful of key books I have. One is a work I want to get multi-signed by authors who won the Scotiabank Giller Prize literary award up here in Canada, for instance.

Nice idea for a thread - inspired - any chance? - by my thread "JJ Cale" in which "bucket list" might have been visible in the opening words...?
Cannot understand how NO-ONE on Autograph Live appears not to have signed memorabilia by JJ Cale or does not care enough about him to even comment about the matter. On the other hand it's what makes autograph collecting accessible and great. My nectar is another's poison - lol!
Ian Fleming remains 001 on my list - I will never get one (unless someone bequeaths it to me in their will).

Ian Curtis (Joy Division) signed photo, poster or LP with cast iron provenance and preferably with the other members of the band. Fully-signed Sgt. Pepper's, Abbey Road or Get Back albums. Any Jimi Hendrix Experience signed LPs.

Morgan Paull signed blade runner still….rare as hens teeth.
Im also drawn to Peter Cushing as I am a fan and it’s a beautiful signature. Not so rare but just haven’t picked one up yet as it’s such an immaculate signature that I’m waiting for a perfect example.

Peter Cushing's is amongst the most handsome autographs you are likely to see - the antithesis of today's squiggles.

Motörhead - preferably classic Kilmister/Clarke/Taylor but any line-up will do as long as Lemmy's autograph is there. Unfortunately most signed Motörhead today is either fake, ultra expensive or both even if the band always signed tons at every show.
Pink Floyd - only have Nick Mason
Neil Peart - missed him when I met Rush
Led Zeppelin - met the band but only Plant signed a few autographs and stopped way before it was my turn

Almost a decade ago I've talked to a fellow metalhead who met Lemmy in Germany, and he told me that Lemmy is really nice to fans and will sign happily.
I would've thought that authentic Motorhead autographs are more common because of that. But given that Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee autographs are common, wouldn't be easier to filter out the fakes on the newer albums? At least, the fakes where these two are forged as well.

I thought so too, but apparently those who met Lemmy are not selling their signed albums. Lemmy's autograph is really hard to forge, if you know what the real thing looks like it's a no brainer to spot the fakes even if some can be quite good.
I have a friend who met Motörhead in the late 80s and has 2-3 albums signed by Lemmy, Philthy and Wurzel. Unfortunately the only thing I have that he would maybe trade for are my fully autographed vinyl copies of Sabbath's Headless Cross or Tyr. The vinyls themselves are near impossible these days, and the line-up included the now deceased Cozy Powell and Geoff Nicholls
