Sadly it works both ways. A lot of UK exclusives that won't accept a U.S. credit/debit card, places that will cancel if you use a reshipper to the U.S. or places like Coles that want 30 pounds to ship a book when Waterstones does it for 12.50 pounds.

Many of my favorite artists are Brits and I usually miss out or have to scramble to find a trade. It'd be nice if places would have mercy on people on both sides of the pond.

I don't want to buy it from Ebay. One sells it for 200 dollars

I am from Greece. The shipping costs and the taxes are outrageous

You have some on eBay for 34 dollars, it’s a fair price for it since you already pay it’s VAT and you don’t have to have any problems with the item upon arrival. I purchased one just like that.

VAT and EU taxes are not the same. We, Europeans, are really left out of all the good deals. I hope my wife never finds out how much reshippers cost me.

If you buy from eBay they already collect your vat so you don’t have to worry about anything else. At least here in Portugal I don’t have to since I already paid eBay those taxes. That’s why I ended with an item for a total of 50€ and that’s great for me actually. Even if her store shipped it internationally I would have to take it out of my customs services and pay for it, at least eBay will take care of that for me.
