Beatles full signed color photo
Hello,
I bought this a few days ago in an auction.
It is an full color intact pull-out photo included in an 1964 UK-magazine called „Scream“.
I‘m very interested to know what you think about it, thank you.

The sigs are identical to the postcard.

They do look very similar, except the “NEY” portion of Paul’s signature on the postcard is missing the “E” and looks oddly and carefully drawn.

No, not exactly - look at the lean of the "l" in Paul. Postcard shows a lean to the right on that "l", mirroring the "t" in McCartney. The other image Ballroom showed, the LP, shows a vertical "l". I have not looked at the others yet.

Personally I would cancel the purchase. I'm actually amazed that the auction house is allowing this and I would grab their offer with both hands. I didn't say this before but I don't actually think $15,000 (incl. premiums) is all that cheap for a signed centerfold. Most buyers want signed photographs that are easy to display. Having to take the magazine apart or having to frame the whole magazine is not ideal. On top of that printed photographs like this one will fade at the faintest hint of sunlight.
As Terrier said, it should be possible to re-sell the magazine if it has 2.-3 full COAs but I wouldn't take the risk.
Finally, I was also going to suggest offering the magazine to Tracks or Frank. Maybe a daft idea as they would have seen it at the auction but if they wouldn't make an offer you can be pretty sure that it is a dubious item.

I forgot to mention that bigger is not always better. I think most collectors want framed items that are compact and easy to handle. Matted and framed I would think this set of autographs would be pretty large.

I doubt there are many, if any, Beatles collectors that wouldn't be ecstatic to own this set, regardless of it's size, if the signatures are genuine. If authentic, this would rank up there with some of the nicest signed items in existance, in my opinion. It is also my opinion that I would return this item if the opportunity to do so is still there.
