Political views aside (I collect both sides)

Donald Trump has a new book coming out in September. So far it looks like an actual signed book and not a bookplate. Still expensive at $499 but this store does send out legit signatures, no autopens yet but its his short signature 

Anyone have a working coupon code to bring this down to reality a bit? I've tried all the old codes with no luck so far.

Letters to Trump $399 and Our Journey Together $290 both came with authentic bookplates. Both sold out now. Our Journey Together special edition bundle $999 was also authentic and signed in the book. Still available at the link below but again, another short signature.

I don't believe autopens will be an issue with these new books but you never know

It’s much like Dolly Parton and Bob Dylan. When someone has a history of autopen, you take it with a grain of salt and let people make their own decisions.

I agree with you there but honestly its how I feel about every celebrity. They can all decide to try it at some point. Its all how you look at it. The ones who are scared to try again end up missing out on authentic ozzy osborns and Van Morrisons... either way, I sincerely appreciate your comment bringing this point up. Everyone should always be aware of history

I think, generally speaking, political signed items/books from candidates currently campaigning are framed in the context of being a bonus for supporting the candidate -i.e. via donations. Granted it's not exactly how this listing is framed at all, but that's how it somehow is. I made a political donation years ago that was supposed to include a signed book, which I flat out never received. And that was that.

100%. Everyone in politics does it at some point, either in the context of a campaign piece or as a post-politics memoir/tell-all. The former is an extreme gamble, the latter is generally not worth hunting for.

I believe it should. I've tried to fight for a celebrity discussion in the past similar to this music direct discussion but it ended up going nowhere. I'd still like to see one created eventually. I personally would love to see more celebrities posted in this forum with their own separate threads
