Here we have another ugly and obvious Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball that recently sold on Ebay.

The below ugly and obvious Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball was listed and sold by Ebay seller Natkingchriscole for $266.01.

An Ebay wannabe autograph collector wasted $266.01 on the below piece-of-crap and obvious Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball.

For another $75.00 or so, that wannabe autograph collector could have owned an authentic Mickey Mantle autograph on a baseball.

The below Mickey Mantle forgery is a typical and common forgery that was penned during the 1990's. 

Ebay continues, as they have for the past twenty years, to profit from the sales of forgeries.

I love that I've had my ball up for 2-3 weeks. No offers, nothing!! I only want 375$ which is not a lot when I watch fake autos sell for $275 all day.

On top of that I have a lot of ebayers writing to let me know they would pay my asking if the ball was pure white without the two dots mine has. So, buyers don't even know what a legit auto looks like AND they think they can get a pure white ball signed by the mick for $375. Stupid.

I don't understand the hang up people have with "pure white" vintage baseballs.  certainly if I am buying a ball singed by Bryce Harper, I would expect it to be white.  But if I am looking for a ball signed 20 to 30 years ago, I would expect and in fact, prefer that it be cream colored, and not pure white.
