IMG_0402.jpgHi, looking for guidance. I bought a Pete Alonso jersey on Ebay that i took to JSA to be double checked. They said it is a fake. It came with a sticker coa that said AAA on it and a number A20925 on it. I can't find who it might be does anyone have any idea? It was sold by Ebayer BRACARD4480. He is no longer responding. It was a gift for my son for christmas

AAA is not considered to be a credible authenticator.

I believe Paypal has a 180 day window to demand a refund. Hopefully you are still in that time frame.

Don't waste time going back and forth with a crooked seller. They know exactly what they sold you.

File a request for a refund through paypal immediately. The reason is the item is significantly not as described - failed an ebay approved authenticator. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for responding. What does the AAA stand for I couldnt find anything googling it that looks like that sticker.

My guess is I'm not gonna get a refund he hasn't responded and when I checked his site he wasnt selling anything else anymore.

I would hope ebay would pull him from selling. Are you familiar with the autograph in the pic? My only thought is maybe JSA is wrong because I read they do get things incorrect but I doubt it.

Here is a previous topic on AAA. https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/autograph-authentic...

No authenticator is perfect, but JSA is highly credible and I'm confident they got this one right. I know it sucks, but you have to face reality this is a bad piece and take action to resolve it asap.

Did you really think you purchased an authentic autographed jersey of Pete Alonso for $51.00?

Or did you buy the one for $150.00?

lol just took a chance and won a bid. I know I have bought many things I let myself get burned I guess. Said came with coa. Learned a lesson I guess. The AAA on the sticker doesnt match anything I found but at least I didnt lose too much. I did escalate the claim with Paypal as Dan Morris below suggested.

Buy the autograph, not the COA.

+1

Thanks!

Agree with Steve. Hopefully, you have something in writing from JSA to say fake. If so, go to Paypal if you paid via Paypal and file a claim for a fake or counterfeit item and seek a refund as the seller is no longer responding or go to your credit card company if you did not use Paypal. Also send them the emails you sent to the seller and any replies if any.

He stopped responding as he knows it's fake and you found out unlike most who don't. Once Paypal get the claim they will check the details and will refund you. Then, you can leave negative feedback to warn others who will hopefully avoid the same thing happening.

Thanks much. I will do that

You should have no issues getting your money refunded.
