Surprised they charge more for media mail than FedEx. Usually media mail is like $3 to ship a book. Never shipped 20 but I can't see it being close to $200, even if shipped separately.
I had some stuff I wanted over the weekend, but the $15 shipping took away the whole discount. No idea what's going on there. As a plus you can get at least 2 different Dinesh Desouza books to round off the love. They seem to be catering to a certain clientele if you look at the authors on hand.
They used to have the 20% off discount code but I think they got rid of it, not 100% sure though I've tried to avoid them since the autopen problems that they refused to admit to. Overcharging for shipping is a good way to turn away customers as well. I guess they want clientele that easily fall for scams if they're charging that much to ship books when media mail exists.
Yes, they got rid of the racc discount. It seems that whomever is running the site, doesn't have it set for combined shipping and it just keeps adding per book. I never could figure out their shipping in general as sometimes it would be free, sometimes it would be like $8. But $15 for 3 books that are already going to be $50 or $60 isn't going to cut it. After the Alicia Keys issue, I've only made one other purchase, and now I'm most likely done.
10% off with Code: WELCOME10. Not much, but it is something to help with their ridiculous shipping costs.
Thanks picked one up with that discount. Wonder if other companies will sell them.
/it's an older book. But the holidays are coming up and she was Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films. I figured I'd post in case someone has Potterheads on their Xmas list. Also to steer the thread back away from politics and b*tching about Premiere (even if that is well-earned)
Thank you for this, I'd keep an eye out on autopen or ghost signer. I would hope Elliott is the signer. There are rumors from the Umbrella Academy card release Ellen/Elliott was not the card signer. This is a no brainer otherwise and hopefully a good read.
just for reference on where I 1st saw issues: https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1532702&highligh...
