Hello everyone, I got a chance to buy this John Lennon autograph. There is no COA or anything, I was wondering if it is legit. Does it look real or fake to you?

I always crack up when something sells for way more than it should, or if someone asks for more money than something is worth. The current example of this are the lyrics for the Don McLean song “Vincent.” The company Moments in Time is asking $1.5 million for them. Here’s the problem with that asking price. McLean is a one-hit wonder, and these aren’t even the lyrics of that one hit (which would be “American Pie”). The lyrics for The Beatles “Hey Jude” sold…

You know what I’ve given a lot of thought to over the years? What happens to my collection of autographs and sports/movie/music memorabilia when I die. Since I only have one kid, I just assumed she’d get it all. The problem is...I don’t want her getting ripped off if she decides to sell things. Let’s…

There were a few autograph stories the last few weeks. One of them involved Seinfeld star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She was on David Letterman, and showed a picture of a guy that held up a sign asking for an autograph. It said, “Will Work for Julia Louise autograph.”
She thought it was cute and of course, signed the autograph for him (she’s always been a good signer). She did mention how he spelled her name wrong on the sign, which got Letterman and the crowd laughing.…

I was surprised when I got home from work today, turned on the news, and saw that actor Ryan O’Neal won his long legal battle over ownership of an Andy Warhol portrait of the late Farrah Fawcett. He had an on again/off again relationship with her for 30 years and when she was dying of cancer, he always seemed to be lurking around. At the time, I found it all very odd. I…

I never watch Jay Leno, because he's really not that funny or good at what he does; but Dave Letterman has been repeats all week.
Well, Justin Timberlake was promoting Social Network (a great movie, if you haven't seen it yet). Leno set him up, getting him to talk about the Lakers and how they'd go all the way and win it all. He then brought out Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat (the team that recently won the LeBron James Sweepstakes).
Bosh gave him a jersey, and…

It's the one featured in Autograph Magazine months and months back.
I'm having financial hardships, and need to sell it.
Any questions on the item, email me.
It's not an album, but a picture sleeve.
Each signature can be seen clearly (aside from original drummer PETE BEST, who signed over a dark portion). You can see it if you tilt it right in the light, as it's a black sharpie.
Comes with: backstage pass from Ringo…

The last song on the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band record was A Day in the Life, written by John Lennon. It's considered by many the best song on the album.
In Rolling Stone Magazines list of 500 Great Songs of All Time, it was #26. And, in terms of handwritten lyrics, it's probably #1.
An American collecto paid $1.2 million for it at the Sotheby's auction. They had estimated it would get between 500,000 and $800,000.
It's on a…
