It's a first come first served. The signed copies will be allocated in chronological order based on the date and time of purchase. So it's not guaranteed you will get a signed one.

I got the same can’t say if you’re getting one email. Makes no sense. You know how many books you’re getting and how many orders you have.

Latest, now they are saying they do not have a firm signed allocation:
Unfortunatly we have not as yet received our allocation and we are therefore unable to guarantee a signed copy.
Signed copies will not be allocated until the stock has been received. All pre-orders will be processed in chronological order at that time.

We don't know the distribution deal. Possibly there are a specific number of books being distributed by number of sales, like one signed per case of books sold.

So, I asked if they could please reach out once they receive/confirm their stock on if my order will be signed....this is feeling more like a scam....here is what they said:
All orders will be processed and prepared for dispatch once stock has come in.
You will be sent a dispatch notice but we will not be able to confirm if the book will be signed.

I agree. I ordered semi early but if they continue down this road and it continues to look like a scam I’m just going to cancel my order once the release gets closer. More out of principle than anything. Yes I want an unsigned book to read, and I could use it anyway, but with the way they’ve been advertising this one and handling inquiries…. absolutely not from them.
