I saw the form used to order signature templates from the autopen manufacturer. Assuming that is still the current process, they just had to provide examples of their signature. I suppose even a good photocopy would work.

Dylan is not living in a vacuum. SOMEONE will or has mentioned this to him. And look what good that has done. He is a SCAMMER!
I never knew he was up for sexually assaulting a 13 year old in 1965!

Right you are Eric Keith Longo !!! The sexual assault case against him was just recently dropped this July 2022. The girl named "JC" said Dylan groomed her and then sexually assaulted her...
I personally walked Dylan offstage as Security here in Ontario in 1980, I was on his right hand side and a fellow security officer was on his left...we walked him out to his bus. We were told prior not to ask for an autograph or even utter a word to him or we would forfeit our pay for the evening and never work Security at the venue again. Dylan seemed to be an arrogant a**hole !!!
Later we worked Willie Nelson, and he invited us to stand with him, lean against his tour bus, as we all had cigarettes, quite the juxtaposition to Dylan !!!

Oh ya Eric Keith Longo , when we had successfully escorted Bob securely onto his bus, I went back into the venue and got Bob's personal setlist that was taped right below his microphone stand. It had private notes on it for cues etc. I still have it and you can still make out his shoeprints on it! That'll probably have to serve as my memorabilia for Bob Dylan in my autograph collection lol !!!

Yes, I suppose so. Something happened here. I believe Dylan was fully aware. If he leaves such decisions to underlings he is an idiot. I think it is just business as usual. Making money, which is a thread running through most people involved.

It’s possible that he initially intended to sign some amount and that things changed at some point. Who knows. I just find it hard to believe that he would go along with 1,000 autopen signed books when there are no previously known autopen signatures, but there are items that he signed in quantity.

I don't know, but he had to be involved at some point. Otherwise he is just blowing in the wind. He is not that stupid. I believe he is very savvy about music and the industry. If not, to paraphrase another member, he would have been swallowed and finished by the music machine long ago. Come on people.

Thank you, everyone, for your dedication and hard work to get the word out about these Autopens and to get S&S to admit it and give refunds to everyone. That wasn't easy!
Don't lynch Dylan. We don't know how these books ended up on the market. We don't know who was involved. We don't know if Dylan even knew about it until the last day or so.
This is America. You're innocent until proven guilty. What you think happened doesn't matter. What DID happen matters.
