This is why people end up with 10 grohls, 10 brian johnsons, 10 bono's.. we are all so worried that this will happen that we buy from every source. This practice is only good for resellers. It creates a huge demand for the people who only ordered from 1 source which failed to come through.. FOMO kicks in and they all scurry to ebay to buy from the people who purchased from every source and now have extras

There's a lot of truth to this, I think everyone here will agree that for an item you really want you will buy duplicates from several sources because we all have had cancelled orders, even from sources we thought were reliable.

I ended up with 9 Arnolds. Purchased from BAM twice because you cant even trust their restocks. Ive seen previous restock orders cancelled yet future restocks still came through. My order history was 2 from BAM, 2 from waterstones, 2 from Blackwells (3 orders of 1 instead of 2 because I thought I had an issue with the 1st order but ultimately left it in place) and then another 2 from BAM. They all came through and im not a reseller. Its a good problem to have but really terrible for true fans who missed out because they don't monitor the autograph sites. Luckily I have them spoken for. My wife used to be a personal trainer for a few years and we have bodybuilder friends who will go crazy for them. But this is exactly my thought process when I see items in stock.. buy 1st and think later.

I logged into my Blackstone Publishing account to check my single order and it still shows Pending. I haven’t received a cancellation email.
EDIT: Ahhh there it is. *shakes fist at sky*

The email says "all" orders will be cancelled so it's just a matter of time. Mine still shows "pending" as well. Assuming they sold thousands of these so it may take a bit to get them refunded.

What about refunds? I got charged when I ordered. Thankfuly I used PayPal I think so I am protected if they are not doing this correctly.

Gareth, I checked both PayPal and my CC and never saw a charge from Blackstone from my original order on Oct 2nd. Do you know of others who were charged or had pending charges for the pre-order too?

Thanks I went to recheck and its no longer appearing must have been a temp authorization as I used a debit card at the time.

Thanks! got one too. had held off this morning because of the blackstone one. hopefully b&n comes through. I added to wish list and still no notifications it came back in stock. added the Deion Sanders one too. had a $25 gift card and free shipping over $35.
