As kids, my friends and I collected these Star Wars action figures (we were children of the 70s-early 80s).   I even had a collector's carrying case for them.

I don't recall this little guy amongst them, though.  Guess I know why now!

This guy is incredibly rare, only a handful are known to still exist hence the price. Mint in box figures from the orginal Kenner toyline are still worth hundreds mind. Used toys.....not so much.

Loose (not on card) vinyl cape jawas are still very desirable. Loose ones probably sell for around $2,000.

I once mulled buying a listing off FB Marketplace with signed vintage SW figures (Power of the Force II) from Anthony Daniels, Jeremy Bulloch and Billy Dee Williams, but couldn't bring myself to do it because there was such a high premium on the figures (and this was long after the brand had been damaged, perhaps irreparably, by Lucasfilm over the last decade) that there was no real upside potential.

Same went for a set of books signed by Baker, Daniels and Bullock that someone wanted 250 pounds for in the U.K.

I don't have any, but I like the signed carded figures. The 90s Power of the Force figures are mostly $5 items, so they make an inexpensive medium to get signed. Sadly, most of the people who could have signed them have left us. Ford and Hamill are so expensive now, I'm not sure it would be wise to have them sign a 90s figure. You'd be better off getting an 11x14 signed.

Good heavens I had that one. Not the UK one tho.

You sure you had a vinyl cape jawa? They are exceedingly rare. 99.99% are the standard cloth cape.

Yes, because it was Yoda that had the cloth cape. The vinyl was very different and did not move much. I also think it might have been "short sleeve".

No, the vinyl was on a taller character(s) - maybe Tuscan Raider(?) - I remember the stitching on the US Jawa figure.
