Fake Disney autographs items are in the market - BEWARE

I have been offered two Walt Disney signed letters and one memo signed Walt.

After submitting them to Phil Sears I was told they are all fakes.

The text of the letters has been done on a computer (should have been a typewriter) and the letterhead is from 1930's Disney stationery and the letters are dated in the 1950's.

The signatures of course are also bogus.

I have them in a .pdf file and if anyone wants to see what they look like, send me an e mail at…

Ebay is as bad as it has ever been

In the last week ebay has stopped responding to reports from their own EMR (enhanced member reporting) team. This team would report bogus items and items with COA's from banned authenticators. Usually the reports were acted on, sometimes very promptly, sometimes slowly, but usually the reports were being used by ebay. Though there were some very large ebay autograph sellers that seemed to have immunity to these reports.

Now ebay is not even listening to the EMR reports. Ebay is…

Creepy and cowardly

In Thursday's mail I received a large envelope which contained some allegedly sensitive information about someone who posts frequently on this website.

What makes me laugh about it is that the coward who sent it to me did not include a return address, used an old zip code of mine (yet it still got to me), and had a black line from a magic marker placed through the postage stamps resulting in the stamps not being postmarked. All done to disguise who the person is. I just love the…

A Tsunami of ???? Autographs on eBay

The number of questionable autographs of Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams on ebay has reached epidemic proportions.

There are also a good number of Sandy Koufax and Joe DiMaggio questionable autographs on ebay.

Beware those with Nicholas Burczyk COA's. I have yet to find one of those COA's that I agree with. Despite my posts on various places including my own blog on my website, nobody has been able to prove to me that Mr Burczyk actually ever authenticated a baseball…

Questionable Autographs are Everywhere

I am seeing very questionable autographs on non eBay auction sites.

These are general auctions sites that sell jewelry, appliances, TVs, etc.

The auctions sites do not have a clue what is being done with autographs on their sites.

The prices that these autographs are auctioned at are startlingly low.

It seems that eBay sellers are buying these autographs on these…
