Notorious eBay Seller Of Fakes Now Has Psa/Dna Stickers On Everything... What Gives?

Hi Everyone-

After ("allegedly") being burned by eBay Seller sportsnmore9999 on more than one occasion, I learned through this forum: (https://live.autographmagazine.com/main/search/search?q=sportsnmore...) that many had the same experience and that, rather than offering a misguided mix of genuine and counterfeit signed items, it appeared that this was ("allegedly") more like a straight-up factory of fakes, most being "certified" with a TD (Team Derek) hologram sticker, which this Forum has also deemed problematic:(https://live.autographmagazine.com/main/search/search?q=TD+hologram).

Now I find that their inventory has been streamlined (specifically signed rock/pop lp listings) and ALL are now ("allegedly") certified by PSA/DNA. The question here is, are we seeing an ("alleged") onslaught of counterfeit PSA/DNA stickers and certificates, or is someone at PSA/DNA ("allegedly") "on the take" here? Can a leopard really change it's spots?

Unfortunately, I could not verify any of these items through the PSA/DNA database, as none of the images posted are set so you can magnify the image enough to read the sticker numbers. Additionally, pics of the certification cards are labelled "Sample Only", deeming both the stickers and certificates useless in verifying the authenticity of the corresponding signed pieces.

For the record, I only buy signed lps, mainly because I find it harder to be tricked, unlike lp "flats" and photographs, which can easily be duplicated from genuinely signed originals. Some examples of current listings by this Seller can be seen below. Please see the following link to this Seller's listings page for this Seller's full inventory and share your thoughts.

They all are forgeries. I agree.

I think the stickers are legit but bad photos. Wouldn’t be the first time PSA stickered a bad stack of crap. I’m sure we’ll see soon enough. PSA has an in with EBAY. If they are bad stickers they will get them yanked.

Until someone reports with a valid number, I believe they are all fake. They have been ripping people off with above average forgeries for years. Let’s continue to exploit everything we can find out about this operation until they are done.

Yep they have been ripping people of for years and need to be shut down. Then again so has PSA with their faulty opinions on music autographs.

I bet you are right about the mass rubber stamping at the hotels.

It looks like you called it right, Rick. One of the cert #s, AE65036, is visible and does appear in the PSA/DNA database. Also, numbers in the AE6508X range appear to correspond to names that the seller is offering for sale.

The sooner autograph collectors realize how shady these TPA’s are the better. I’ve witnessed a couple of these mass hotel authentication parties. One by PSA and another by Beckett. Both times over 400 signatures authenticated in a couple hours with a 100% pass rate. No chance. All were rubber stamped.

A local collector I know once hit me up to have my autographs authenticated by PSA this way for $10 each regardless of who it was and he told me he guaranteed the signatures would pass. I asked him how could they guarantee that if nobody had seen or even know what autographs I had.

Anyone thinking these are the good guys of the hobby have been conned. They have as much integrity as the forgers. These TPAs have done more harm to this hobby then any forger has. I cringe when experienced collectors endorse them or point newbies to trust them.

I would touch nothing that comes from this outfit.

I was burned by the seller when I was not wise to all the scammers and forgeries sold on eBay.  I bought 4 albums and of those JSA cretified 3 (Go Gos, Duran Duran and John Travolta). The only one they did not was a Canned Heat LP. I know now they are all forgeries.   His items are ALL forgeries. Stay away.  I sure hope PSA would not put their name on such garabage!

It’s simply disgusting that sportsnmore9999 is allowed by eBay to continue stealing other peoples money while eBay profit from the sales fees. Just disgusting!!

He makes several million $ each year selling fakes: https://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/ebay-seller-sportsn...

Did I say that this is disgusting...

Ebay is an enabler of sellers like that.

Ebay encourages the listing and selling of forgeries by doing absolutely nothing about them.

I don't know thw other signs, but U2 edge signs are real for me, 100%.

I wanted to make a comment here myself regarding this seller.(sportsnmore9999)

i have been watching him for years after buing a signed Tom Petty lp from him. He’s many years of business and all good feedback tricked me. After this he has putting out at least 30 signed Tom Petty albums, which all were typical 1$ records due to condition.

he also put out a ton of Alice Cooper and Jeff Lynne amongst others. He never had any TPA «certified» products.

Then, some weeks ago, I suddenly saw that he had  started to use PSA/DNA stickers on his products. All of them with the sample of a certificate.

I think this is really bad for us all, when all the items from this seller will flood the marked with stickers.

without seeing this with my own eyes, I’m almost certain he has bought these stickers from maybe China or somewhere else. Couldn’t be too hard to manufacture these.

If This guy had been operating in my country (Norway), I would have taken this further to shut this busines down.
