Has anyone recieved from his U.S store what they believe could be authentic or is everything so far from the U.S store autopen?

Mine are scheduled to arrive tomorrow and if they all have been autopen, there will be no need for me to open up the packaging before starting a return.

I just received mine from Bon Jovi's Official Store and now I have questions about returning it!

Their return policy states:

WILL YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OF PRODUCT IN ANY CONDITION?

  • Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with tags attached. Returned items cannot be washed, worn, used, or altered in any way. Any items deemed used or altered in any way will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

Ok with all that being said, you have to open it to see what the insert auto card looks like right, but if you open it...is it still in it's original packaging and will they refuse to accept it back?

    UGGG...IT's A DAMN CATCH-22!!!

That’s a fair point but as far as I’m concerned their “policy” is going out the window given they are clearly providing fake signatures. This is where the power in numbers comes into play. If enough of us refuse to allow this to happen and bring it to light (via this forum, social media, BBB complaints, or whatever) I think they’ll have no choice but to accept returns, opened or not. I’m sure they’ll fight us at first, but we need to be relentless. Just my two cents

I received mine today. Never been so disappointed and unimpressed with a signed item before. And I have seen quite a few disappointments over the years.

First is the size of this card, it's tiny and if you are into displaying signed items on the wall like myself, this one will barely get noticed.

Secondly, even though my signed artcard signature looks different than what I have seen posted here, I still think that it is an autopen. It's supposed to be signed with a black marker, but flipping over the card to the other side, there is absolutely no bleeding on the white background. Not even a speck of black ink.

Lastly, I tried using the tilting of the photo with an illuminated background detection method and I do not see any strokes nor changing the color on the signature surface.

That being said, I would not be surprised if different types of autopens were used. Like I said, the signature placement and orientation looks different than the photos posted here, but it just looks like the signature is part of the photo.

I might give the CD a spin but the artcard is going to a storage box.

Mine from his store looks like an autopen. You turn over the paper and there's no ink bleed through. Take a magazine like People and try to sign your name with a sharpie and it goes right through the paper. I emailed them and they're supposed to send a free RMA. He sucks.

Jon randomly stopped by Rough Trade in nyc today & signed vinyl

This was not random.  This went onsale last week and sold out in under 5 minutes.

Do we still think the cheap feeling thin ones are real?

Still trying to figure out if mine is autopen, bought on Amazon if that makes a difference.

Not seen any similar so living in hope

The autopens don't have the same flow as your copy, this looks genuine, I also have a copy which is signed in similar way from Amazon and matches my instore signed poster. I noticed something with the Amazon CD's. Some have artcards attached to the cover (most likely real) while some have got the artcard inside the box. The ones inside the box are most likely to be autopens so it's also a mix of real/fake on Amazon. Was yours attached to the front?
