So I’m just starting this to help those still waiting on their orders or otherwise trying to sort out what they have. There are multiple autopen templates involved (see below). As of now, store is accepting returns for refund.

**Credit to AL member Sapphyre who first mentioned autopen and posted her example (on original thread). I was able to match it quickly to AL member R Buck’s, who also posted theirs early on. Thanks to both.

You guys are too kind. Thanks for the mention. This was a great day for me already and reading this made it even better... I've been on a little break from this hobby the last few months for many reasons and it makes me so happy to see the passion and fire for authenticity is burning strong.

To Matt and everyone involved, you should all be proud. I honestly would never have thought this would gain any media attention. This is shocking and shows im still being taught to never give up, even when so many smaller fights previously led nowhere. Its a great lesson for all of us. It would be so easy for you all to just accept the refund and send these back. You guys went above and beyond and kept the pressure on. Hopefully the media will continue to give attention to stories like these. Maybe the autograph community has grown so much lately that this will become a common occurrence for autopens in the future

I initially purchased 2 of these from the Bon Jovi store a few months ago but ended up canceling after they were available for so long. Ultimately, im very glad I canceled but it made me feel like I wasn't a part of this one. I still sent out a couple emails to voice my displeasure when the first autopen came out but I dont think it had the same fire coming from a non customer who wasn't directly affected. Regardless, Matt and everyone who contributed to this, you are all awesome! I know how much effort and research is needed to keep the ball rolling and it really does take a village to make it happen.

The reason why this was such a great day for me already, we found out this morning (yesterday now) that we are having another baby and im going to be a father again! Soon, a new potential future collector will be coming into this world.. We've been planning since winter and its a big reason why I've taken a step back lately with my focus being on other things, especially being an older new dad for the 2nd time. Perfect timing with fathers day today. Sorry guys. I just want to shout it to the world and couldn't hold it in lol

Well first off, congratulations man and happy Father’s Day! That’s amazing news for Fathers Day weekend. Lol, a new collector is born!

Yeah, I was kind of surprised by the level of attention too. Sure, he’s a big name, but it wasn’t that expensive and they agreed to refund from the outset. Like you said, we’ve seen/lost other battles that didn’t gain any attention. So it’s good to see and I hope it serves as a deterrent…we will catch it!

Good for you for recognizing the potential problem ahead of time and canceling. I was wondering where you were on all this…You certainly deserve credit for generally leading our autopen fight in the past. And I have a whole new appreciation for what you did on the Dylan thing lol….this requires a good deal of time and patience but I enjoyed it. And credit goes to all who contributed, nice work by the forum. I hope we made an impact.

Congrats again to you and your wife. Thanks for the post, good to hear from you!

Thank you! I'm still active on here but more as a lurker these days. I have so much to do this summer I just can't find the time anymore. Although, I am set for repeat ankle surgery this September so you will probably get sick of seeing a ton of comments from me this fall while I'm stuck on the couch for a few months recovering.

Congrats, Jason H.

Mine ended up with the case broken too.  Front glass was cracked and one of the tabs was broken too.  I put a note in with my return thanking them for the quick response to my return but politely suggesting they use more than a thin bubble mailer for USPS.

I probably would have dealt with the damage if the signature was good.  The autopen eliminated any need to decide.

Thanks to the OP and so many great members here for the great work.

Appreciate it…yeah, there were so many issues (tiny, poor quality, cracked case, signature barely visible) but I probably would have kept it too if it was legit.

Just an idea  Since he autopenned the cds  Who bets he wont LIP SYNC if he does go back on tour

Thanks to both above for sharing the stories…we made the news again lol

Mine went straight back and they paid for a return label Shame on Jon and his management ,I hope it cost them plenty in shipping

Wow that's crazy! First time I heard of a news place cover something like this.
