Here is a rare autographed postcard by author William S. Burroughs, from 1996. William Seward Burroughs II (February 5, 1914 – August 2, 1997) was an American writer and visual artist. He is widely considered a primary figure of the Beat Generation and a major postmodern author who influenced popular culture and literature. Burroughs wrote eighteen novels and novellas, six collections of short stories and four collections of essays, and five books have been published of his interviews and correspondences; he was initially briefly known by the pen name William Lee. He also collaborated on projects and recordings with numerous performers and musicians, made many appearances in films, and created and exhibited thousands of visual artworks, including his celebrated "Shotgun Art". 😍❤️

A fine piece, very nice - was it ttm or did you buy it, thus?

I just picked it up.

Where? Interzone? :-)

I love it! Avedon too!

It was on the Bay. Love the Avedin shot of Burroughs.

My new book Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama signed by Bob Odenkirk!

Rad! I have been looking to get a reasonably-priced copy of that one to join my signed Cranston book, but to no avail. I keep looking!

John Cale — handwritten and initialled lyric excerpt from the song “Catastrofuk” (2011), 11” x 8 1/2” on fine onion skin paper, one of only 20 produced for promotional purposes and as competition prizes:

30th Anniversary “Phantom of the Paradise” cast signed poster. Circa 2005. 😍❤️

Got to see Joey Molland of Badfinger fame perform Saturday night.  Met up with him after the show and he graciously signed a couple of CD liners for me.

Big Atwood energy

Part of a set I purchased for a pretty penny, which included 9 Atwood sigs (one of which is a handwritten signed postcard in French with a note) to a French autograph collector. I managed to get the entire collection save for a handwritten letter (which had already been sold) and a handwritten note card with her personal letterhead on top (which the seller's wife wanted to keep) for a very reasonable price.

This was actually a "freebie" the seller didn't know about (it was still inside one of the mailing envelopes). Jury's still out on whether it's the new "grail piece" in my collection - I've never seen another example of her handwriting the last line of her signature book and writing the title for any collector, even in signed copies of Handmaid's Tale..

Signed on July 3rd, 1967 at John’s house. Before they went to a huge party and Eric Clapton tried acid for the first time.
