Bon Scott autograph price??? and rarity and other musicians dying at young age

Hi, I've been looking for a authentic Bon Scott autograph does anyone know current value of his signature and the rarity of it, i know he died at the age of 33 back in 1980 and with Amy Winehouse passing away at a young age, and her autograph being sought after right now, wondering if Bon's is still in demand. I know I see alot of videos and stills of him signing but it just seems I don't see it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated!!!

John Wayne Help

Hello autograph friends. I have been collecting John Wayne signatures for over 25 years now. The item that started my obsession is a signed Hondo photo inscribed to "Dave", my middle name. This was purchased from a very well known California dealer from which I hold a lifetime LOA. As I built my collection over the years, I would talk myself into believing that it was authentic, but as my exemplars build my confidence in this piece diminishes. I must sadly admit that I now feel that the… Continue

Harrison Ford...Real v.s. Fake

I see a lot of questions around the internet and collector's chat regarding Harrison Ford autographs.  Quite honestly, Harrison is a very good signer and is out in the public quite a bit ( unlike some stars that only appear during a movie promotion ) in California and NY.

Harrison is one of the top names in the last 30 years of entertainment and is by far one of the most desirable autographs for any collection.

Since I have been regarded as one of the world's…

Jeter 3000th

Guy 5 rows ahead of us caught the home run Jeter blasted for his 3000th hit.  Too bad Jete will probably want that.   Sick game for the cap, no groundouts and had the winning RBI.  Great game and congrats to Jete!

"That's What Friends Are For"

In chapter 14 of my book, Hooked on Autographs, I offer 10 suggestions for novice autograph seekers on how to obtain autographs. Number 7 tip is don't forget about asking friends to help get sought-after signatures. I practice what I preach.

I was visiting my sister, Rose, in Maryland last month. Rose's late husband was a major general in the U.S. Army and was the Commading Officer of Walter Reed Army Medical Center until his…

Lovert Bassett vs. Bryan Slaven, Case No. 10 SC 3866

I have been in contact with Judge Lovert Bassett in reference to his lawsuit against Autograph Central (Bryan Slaven).  Mr. Bassett purchased eight signed photographs from Autograph Central (Bryan Slaven).  The eight signed photographs contained a total of ten (10) signatures of Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney and Elsa Lanchester.

All ten signatures were authenticated by Christopher Morales, Forensic…

Signature Authentication/Forgery defrauder

Greetings.  My name is Kelly Wilkins. I am a forensic document examiner/handwriting analyst/expert and an avid collector of autographs, myself.  But, I go to horror movie conventions to meet my "heroes", and it dawned on me.  Now that I am certified, why not use this for my benefit.  I have met with managers and the actors themselves as well as other avid collectors and have started to add signature authentication to my services.  Now, this is why I am contacting you. Since this is a subject…

Just Set My All-Time Record Wait for an Autograph!

Last Wednesday, I received an autograph back for my longest wait ever. I collect baseball players' autographs, and I usually send off about 10 a month.

My longest wait had been 8 years for Darrell Evans c/o his home, but now I have shattered that mark.

I sent off for Kevin Reimer c/o the Texas Rangers in May of 1991. I received it back last week with the 29 cent stamp still affixed (the post office didn't charge me postage due, either). That is a wait of 19 years and 1…
